So I heard this song over the weekend, and it's driving me nuts because I don't know the title and the person I was traveling with is uncertain as to the artist.

All I know is . . . it's from the early-to-mid-nineties, a song played in dance clubs although it is not actually "dance music" ( much the way U2's "Mysterious Ways" was played in dance clubs ). The artist may or may not be a group called James. The singer's voice reminds me of Chris Isaak, and the lyrics have to do with the speaker being driven crazy for love.

NO, it's not the Fine Young Cannibals. That one, I know.
