Halloween was a little disappointing this year: no costume, no chocolate, and too many badly-behaved thirteen-year-olds out grubbing for candy. I might not bother with the handouts, next year.

However, daytime TV was vastly entertaining. I just about fell off the couch laughing at Regis, Kelly, and Melman dressed up as Kid Rock, Pam Anderson, and Tommy Lee, respectively.

And, since I have very little else to do with my time, I've gotten hooked on As The World Turns. I figure that if I'm going to get sucked into a soap opera, I will at least support former BtVS characters.

So I started watching for Bailey Chase, who I simply cannot stop thinking of as Graham Miller, Riley's buddy from the Initiative, despite the fact that he talks far too much in his current role.

He did much better when all he had to do was stand still and look silently grim.

Anyway, since yesterday was all about Halloween episodes, I pretty much died laughing when his character swept into a Halloween party dressed as . . .

. . . Darth Vader.

Really.

*dies*

Too, too funny for words.

Like I said, I just can't shake the image of him as Graham. And I don't think that Graham would have been caught dead in a Darth Vader costume.

What do you all think?

"I need to use my most important investigative tool -- my library card."

Said by the Vincent D'Onofrio character on Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Whoo-hoo! Libraries getting the credit they so richly deserve!

Now if only they would start giving props to we librarians. 'Cause we're the ones actually doing the work. Usually.
