redfirecrackerStumbled across these while browsing for next year's Halloween costume. One of my all-time favorite costumes was my twelfth-century red gown. That thing was awesome! It weighed about twenty-five pounds and was warm as TOAST.
Alas for the days when I was half the size I am now.
These pictures made me feel all wistful for the days of Chaucer and butterfly headdresses. Sigh. I want to run right out to the fabric store and get started.
