I do believe I've drabbled. Word count: 107.

*************************************************

There are three points on the human body than can continue to be used as weapons, even after sustaining crippling damage.

The ball of the foot, the heel of the hand, and the point of the elbow can all be used to wreak havoc upon an enemy in a life-or-death battle.

Adrenaline takes care of any pain the injured fighter might otherwise feel.

Unfortunately . . . Lex's opponent was not another man.

He wondered if the missing right hand would grow back.

Laughing, not quite sanely, he named the cruising, toothy shadow, "Bruce".

Yes. "Bruce" was the crew's nickname for the animatronic shark in Jaws.

See, my first thought was "Bruce Wayne", which made the whole reading kind of erm... intersting. :)

I was afraid that was going to happen, because of the fanon overlap between SV and Batman . . . but I wanted to give it a try anyway.

It's too bad Spielberg & co. didn't nickname the shark "Cuddles" . . . would've been much easier for me!
