Somewhere out there is a story that I loved and foolishly never bookmarked. Naturally, I can't remember the title or the author, or any really useful information: only that it was Clark/Lex, from Clark's POV.

It was set in the autumn, because Clark thinks about how much he hates fall because it signifies endings. He kisses Lex, and then says to him, "It's too late, isn't it?"

Too late for us, he means.

Lex insists that it's not too late, and kisses him until Clark rethinks not only his feelings about the two of them, but also his position on the seasons.

Happy endings all around.

So.

Does that sound vaguely familiar to anyone?

I've gone through SSA until my eyes are literally unfocused, and I can't find it -- although I'm sure it's just that I bypassed it from sheer blindness.

It's been seven hours now, and I've had it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
