So what did I do all weekend, you ask?

Well . . . this.

I saw that Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is out on video this week, and that got me thinking about my poor lonely Dean-is-a-vampire story.

So. Here we go.

Wake The Night - SPN / Underworld crossover-fusion-thingy, Sam / Dean, 5 / ? )

Whatcha think? I actually know where I'm going with this, now . . . it's just a matter of getting there. I'm always curious as to if others see it the same way I do, so tell me-- what do you think happens next?

I'd do a poll, but I'm a freebie user. Sigh. Maybe someday.

Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] mediaville, it's not more of the J2 plotbunny, though I did work on that as well.

I don't know if anyone is even reading this: I went back over past sections and saw nobody commented, but I never know if that's because it sucked, or because no one was remotely interested. I actually discovered the plot arc for this one over the weekend, so hopefully, I'll be able to produce more. We shall see . . . what did this take, almost a year?

No one who knows me should be particularly surprised that this is going slowly.

I have NO idea why I'm writing this. It's not even that good. I suppose that, as always, I hope to make more room for the stuff I *want* to write, by churning out the dreck.

SPN / Underworld Crossover, Sam / Dean, untitled, 3 / ? )

So apparently, I'm actually writing an SPN / Underworld crossover. I didn't expect it when I discovered it along with the rest of you at the end of part 1, and it seems even more improbable now that it did when I started. Besides, didn't someone else write one of those recently? Or maybe I'm thinking of an SGA / Underworld crossover. Oh, whatever. I get everything so confused, and the fannish hivemind all seems to generate similar stories across fandom lines.

Hm. So, this seems to have decided to take place after the first movie. I haven't seen the second, so who knows what's going to get jossed as I go along.

I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but when I write stories, I often don't know what's going to happen until the words appear on screen.

This is definitely one of those kinds of stories. I had no idea what was going to happen, or who else was going to show up. And no, I don't know yet how Dean lost his memory.

It began as many of my stories do, with a vague image from a dream I'd had a few nights ago -- Dean with a tattoo of wolf -- and snowballed from there.

Imagine my surprise when I found it turning into this:

Sam / Dean, 1 / ?, untitled yet dammit )

So? Opinions, anyone? I'd like to continue and find out what happens, although frankly, the very formal style of writing that I'm using is pretty much killing me.

[livejournal.com profile] lucifrix? Grammar check? You know that sentence is driving me batshit.
