My immediate supervisor just took a phone call and had to race out of work and get to the hospital where her husband was taken because he is suffering from chest pains.

I remember how I felt when I got a call like that about my mom... like a train had just slammed into me. For a minute, I couldn't breathe, couldn't think, nothing.

Luckily for her, it turned out to only be a serious anxiety attack, but it was still terrifying on many levels.

I really hope my supervisor's husband is okay.

The stupidity of the people in this world just never ceases to amaze me.

This is an audio clip of a woman who, allegedly, actually CALLED THE POLICE because a Burger King didn't make her sandwich the way she wanted it.

Props to the cops for telling her, essentially, to shove it.
