The Minutiae of Life as a Militant Squirrel

Okay, so I just did the LJ-SEC thing for the last six months over at InsaneJournal. I don't get the whole DreamWidth thing that everyone's talking about, but I guess it's just another LJ clone? Maybe not. Anybody want to fill me in?

Anyway, wow! Anybody who uses IJ as their primary journal is in for a suprise. I've just EXPLODED their flists with six months' worth of posts.

*waves* Hi everybody on IJ!

Okay, a while back there was this whole kerfluffle about the mass exodus from LJ, and everyone went running to create duplicate journals. And because I am a lemming, I did, too.

And then someone posted handy instructions on how to change your logon settings in, say, a Semagic LJ client so that you could POST TO ALL YOUR JOURNALS AT ONCE, which was totally awesome and that I loved to pieces.

Except with the domain migration, now all my settings are gone.

So. Goddammit.

Anybody know how to do what I'm talking about? In easy steps, please? Non-techie, here.

I checked out the LJ FAQ and Help, and neither was helpful in the least.
